Key Responsibilities:
An Equipment Reliability Engineer provides support to the Production and Maintenance organizations for the operation and maintenance of manufacturing equipment
An Equipment Engineer assists with new equipment specifications, checkouts, installations, maintains equipment documentation files, develops, and maintains preventive and predictive maintenance procedures, leads complex troubleshooting activities related to breakdowns and other reliability/throughput issues, assures com
You Must Have:
Must be a US citizen and capable of obtaining and maintaining government security clearance
Bachelor of Science degree in engineering from an ABET accredited institution
Two or more years of relevant experience
Experienced in reading and understanding technical schematic
We Value:
Ability to troubleshoot machine problems and determine root cause and appropriate corrective action for equipment breakdowns
Experience working with complex machines and their design, installation, repair, and/or upgrade Experience with manufacturing automation systems, PC controls and machine networking is preferred
Understanding of electrical theory, circuits, hardware applications, schematics, and logic sequences Experience with maintenance, repair, troubleshooting, upgrading and/or modifying complex production manufacturing or laboratory equipment and automated controls
Ability to provide technical guidance, management of small projects, consultative services, risk assessment and regular participation in innovative solutions Experience with types of automated equipment controls including PC, PLC and Computer Numerical Control (CNC) controlled equipment Experience in the use of CAD and/or solid modeling (AutoCad, Solidworks)
Ability to work without supervision, with latitude for independent action and decision making Strong communication skills – both written and verbal Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications Experience in a manufacturing environment.
