The Engineering Lead is an independent manager. They are comfortable managing team members with different skill sets from their own. They communicate expectations clearly to all team members, solicit, and deliver individual feedback frequently (not only in the scope of review periods).   As a technical leader, they ensure they are tracking the team’s efficiency and quality of deliverables within our SDLC (Software Development Lifecycle) and regularly adjusting processes and timelines to ensure high-quality delivery.

Our engineering team is sensitive to the ever-changing COVID landscape. As such, engineering will be completely remote until further notice.

We still believe in camaraderie and having fun though! We regularly have virtual shows and shares, gaming sessions, and happy hours


Required Experience

  • Bachelor’s or higher degree or its equivalent is normally the minimum entry requirement for the position

  • 2+ years supporting a marketing department or digital advertising team in a corporate or agency environment

  • Understanding of acquisition funnels and the role that engineering can play in maintaining and enhancing the conversion process

  • Daily management of 2+ direct reports

We’d be particularly delighted to hire someone who has experience with:

  • CMS systems helping maintain multinational, multilingual websites

  • Node.js, TypeScript, Javascript

  • React.js, Angular, Ember.js, Sass

  • Relational database (PostgreSQL)

  • RESTful or GraphQL APIs

  • AWS or GCP

  • Docker and Kubernetes
