Job Description
This position will provide quality group fitness classes for the UMKC community. Classes will be pre-planned, safe, and inviting to all members. Class type will depend on certification and experience – for example: cycle, hatha yoga, circuit training, etc.
Minimum Qualifications
A Bachelor’s degree in related/relevant area or an equivalent combination of education and experience and at least 2 years of experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired is necessary
Preferred Qualifications
NCCA Accredited Group Fitness Instructor Certification or Specialty Group Fitness Certification or 200 Hour Yoga Certification.
1+ Years experience teaching group fitness classes
Anticipated Hiring Range
Up to $25.00 per hour commensurate with education, experience, and internal equity.
